We promised one of these a week and this one is late, it goes up together with the next. Here is what changed in the product that week.
Your codes, once for the whole account. Affiliate codes used to be typed site by site. They now live on one page of the dashboard, Sponsors, with one code per program that every site of the account takes, the ones you have and the ones you'll create. A site can still carry its own code when it's built for someone else. The site's name goes into every link by itself, so the program's stats still tell your sites apart.
No code, no program. On a subscribed site, a program whose code you haven't set no longer shows at all. Before, an empty field meant the rooms or the scenes went out under Jimp's code, and nobody should find out later that their commissions went somewhere else. The three-day demo still runs on Jimp's codes, and so does a site 30 days after its subscription ended. Added on October 5, a new subscriber gets 30 days to set codes, during which a program without one keeps running on Jimp's, said in the dashboard with its date and repeated by email. Programs take days to approve an account, and a site shouldn't go empty the day its owner pays.
Two more cam platforms. Jerkmate and MyFreeCams are live, which makes nine. Both run on a single CrakRevenue affiliate ID, one field for the two.
Banners place themselves. The card where you uploaded banners slot by slot is gone from the editor. Jimp fills the six slots of every site with the partner programs' creatives, tracked to your code, and on a sponsor scene's page the banner is that sponsor's or nothing. Less to set up, and the banner matches what the page is about.
Sponsor scenes in the Reely feed. Reely's home page ran on short clips that paid nothing. It now plays sponsor scenes cropped to portrait, one minute each, in the site's own player with the scene's sign-up link. One program agreed in writing to the crop, and more are being asked.
Spotlight. The Studio template is now called Spotlight. Same template, same demo, the old demo address redirects.
The affiliate program has its page. 20% for life on what the accounts you bring pay. Commissions start with online payment, which isn't open yet.
