Green Lighthouse scores on every storefront

On our demo sites, Lighthouse gives SEO 100 and accessibility 100 or close. Mobile performance sits in the 40s, and we'd rather say so than wait until it's fixed. The goal is green on the three pages that matter, the home page, a listing and a video page.

A first round of fixes is done (favicon, logo weight, contrast, the age gate's first paint). What holds the score down now is mostly other people's bytes, full-size thumbnails from the tubes shown at a fraction of their size, and a tube's player loading on the video page before anyone presses play. The fixes we're working on are resizing those images at the edge and loading the player only on click.
