Getting started

From nothing to a live site in three minutes, no card, and what happens next.

What you get

A complete adult site, on its own address, filled with a real catalog for the niche you picked. Every video carries its own title and description, new videos arrive every day at a pace designed for search engines, and the revenue from cams, banners and affiliate programs goes to your accounts as soon as you subscribe.

The wizard

Open app.jimp.io/start. No account is needed to go through it; you sign in at the last step, when there is something to save. The preview on the right is the real site, updated with every choice.

  1. You. Who you are: webmaster, model or sponsor. The webmaster line is open; the other two put you on a waitlist and tell you when they open.
  2. Template. First what your site serves, the family: videos, cams or VR. Then how it looks, the template. You can switch template any time in the editor, not family (see Choosing a template).
  3. Identity. The site's language (the one your visitors read, not your dashboard's), its name, its address (yourname.jimp.site), the mood (dark, light or your own color), the accent color and the logo shape.
  4. Content and niche. The family has already decided the content. Only the Videos family lets you tick: videos, live cams, or both, and with videos the pornstar directory, one page per performer. Right below, the niche: the orientation and the words of your niche. The wizard tells you how many videos come out, and warns you if the niche is too thin to last. The tighter the niche, the faster you rank on it.
  5. Account. A code by email, or Google. The site is created and you land in the dashboard.

There is no publishing pace to set: every site publishes at an organic pace set by its type, the same on every plan (see Publishing).

The demo

Without a subscription, a new site starts on a 3-day demo: no card, the real catalog and real publishing. The site isn't monetized during it, except through your codes if you've already set them. The dashboard shows the days left. At the end, the site goes to "Demo ended" but nothing is lost: everything you customized is kept and starts again the moment you take a plan.

Once you subscribe, your new sites are live from the moment you create them, with no demo (see Plans and billing).

Already running a WordPress site?

You do not have to start over: Jimp imports your videos and media, then takes over on your domain (see Migrating a WordPress site).

After the wizard

Every site has its editor, under Dashboard → Sites → your site. The Activity tab shows what is live, what publishes next and how much of the text is already rewritten. The other tabs let you change everything the wizard set, and add the rest: your domain, your logo, your social networks. Your affiliate codes are set on the Sponsors page, once for all your sites. Editing your site walks through them.
