Monetization
Where the money comes from on a Jimp site, and where your codes go.
Where the money is
Be honest about it: the videos themselves earn little. Tube embeds pay a fraction of a cent per thousand views; they are the SEO, the thing that brings the traffic. What pays is what the traffic does next: cam sign-ups, banners, and for a creator platform, the fan's own purchases.
Your affiliate codes
On the 3-day demo, Jimp's codes are on the site. From the first paid plan, yours: the dashboard's Money tab takes your affiliate id at each partner network (the tube networks, Chaturbate, Stripchat) and injects it on the fly in every player, link and room. Sign-ups, embeds and clicks are attributed to your accounts, and the revenue lands there, never through Jimp.
You register at each network yourself: the programs are theirs, the codes are yours.
Cams
A cam section shows the rooms online right now, filtered on your niche. Each room links to the platform with your code; a visitor who signs up is yours for the program's whole attribution window. Cams are the historically strongest revenue in adult, and the reason most niche tubes add the section.
Banners
Six ad slots, each with a switch and a list of creatives:
- Header: a leaderboard under the navigation, on every page.
- Under the player, over the player (dismissible), sidebar beside the player: on video pages.
- In-grid and footer: on listings.
A creative is an image or a short video with a link; give it a size, an alt text and, if you want, a targeting: everywhere, or only on some niches, performers or tags. Several creatives on one slot rotate deterministically per page, so the same visitor sees the same banner on the same page.
Leave a slot on auto and it serves a creative from Jimp's partner catalog, in your niche, on your code once you have one. An enabled slot with nothing servable shows nothing to visitors.
Sponsors
Sponsor trailers (paysites paying on the subscription sold) are a coming site type. Sponsors themselves enter through the waiting list on the start screen.
