The Studio
Your own videos: upload, price, publish on your sites, sell to fans.
The Studio (Dashboard → Studio) holds the videos you own. They belong to your account, not to a site: a site can surface them, a deleted site does not take them away.
Uploading
Drop a video. It uploads straight to storage from your browser, then gets processed (HLS packaging, poster, preview, timeline) and appears as ready a few minutes later. The title is derived from the file name, cleaned: my-holiday-video_final.mp4 becomes "My holiday video". A file name with nothing to say (12541423-hd_1920_1080_25fps.mp4) leaves the title empty, and an untitled video is not published anywhere until you name it; the Studio says so next to the field.
Title, description, tags, price
Everything is editable in place and saved as you type. The description feeds the video's own SEO page. Tags decide which niche and tag pages of your sites the video can appear on. The price is per view (pay-per-view), or leave it empty for a free video; a subscription price for your whole catalog is set on your creator identity.
Where it shows
- On an aggregation site (a niche tube, say), your videos ride along in the grids and in an "Exclusives" showcase on the home, mixed with the catalog. Each site can take all of them or a curated selection.
- On a creator platform site, they are the whole site: your profile, your videos, your prices.
Fans and the player
A locked video shows a teaser and a call to action: buy this video, or subscribe. A fan creates an account with an email code or Google; the same account works on every Jimp site and in the player, and follows them across sites. Payment goes through an adult-friendly processor, Jimp being the merchant of record; payouts follow.
Deleting
Delete removes the video from every site at once. A fan who bought it keeps their purchase record, not the video. The files are purged within the hour, the original included: Jimp keeps your original only for as long as the video exists.
