Niche and content

The catalog

Jimp maintains one shared catalog, fed continuously by partner tube networks that pay affiliates, plus the live rooms of two cam platforms. Every video is embedded from its network with your affiliate code; Jimp hosts no pirated content and only integrates sources that have an affiliate program.

The catalog is append-only: new uploads keep arriving in every niche, and a video is never taken away from your site because it aged. What disappears is only what the network itself takes down.

Orientation

Straight, gay or trans. Each orientation has its own category vocabulary and its own slices of the catalog, so a "twink" niche never mixes with a "milf" one.

Categories

The canonical niches: the ones the networks tag consistently, the ones people search for. A site can take one or several; several are combined as a union (a video in any of them qualifies). One or two categories make a site that ranks; a dozen make a general tube, which ranks on nothing.

Refine tags

Free-form terms that narrow the niche: "feet" inside "amateur", "office" inside "milf". A refine tag is an AND on top of the categories. New refine terms may need one ingestion cycle before their videos appear.

Exclusions

Terms a video must not carry. Always an "AND NOT", useful to keep a niche clean of what your audience does not want.

Filters

Read-side filters applied on top of the selection: HD only, minimum and maximum duration, minimum views, recency. They narrow the pool the site publishes from; they do not change the catalog.

Cams

The cam section has its own axis: gender, and display tags. It shows who is online right now, refreshed every few minutes, filtered on your niche's tags.

Changing the niche

Everything above is editable in the site editor's Content tab, at any time. Widening a niche adds videos to the publishing reserve; narrowing it stops publishing what no longer qualifies, but what is already online stays online.
