Affiliate Program Terms

These terms govern the Jimp affiliate program, operated by PANDACORP SARL, 7B rue du Chapeau Rouge, 21000 Dijon, France (RCS Dijon 823 671 524). By activating your affiliate link in the Jimp dashboard, or by sharing it, you accept them. They complement the Terms of Service, which apply to your Jimp account in full.

1. What the program is

The program pays you a commission on the payments made to Jimp by the accounts you bring in. Any Jimp account can take part, with or without a subscription. Your affiliate link and your code are in the dashboard, under Affiliation.

2. Attribution

A visitor who reaches jimp.io through your link is marked for 90 days by a cookie. The last link clicked wins. If that visitor creates a Jimp account while the mark is valid, the account is attributed to you, permanently. An account that already exists is never attributed, whatever link its owner clicks later.

You cannot be attributed your own account, an account opened with one of your own email addresses, or an account opened on your behalf.

3. Commission

You earn 20% of every amount an attributed account pays to Jimp, excluding taxes: subscriptions and their renewals, plan changes, and credit packs. The commission is calculated on the amount actually received, net of VAT, and never on payment processor fees, refunds, chargebacks, or amounts credited by Jimp staff without a payment.

The commission continues for as long as the attributed account keeps paying. PANDACORP SARL may change the rate for future payments with 30 days' notice by email; commissions already earned are not affected.

4. Hold, refunds and reversals

A commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment it comes from. If that payment is refunded or charged back before then, the commission is cancelled. If it is refunded after the commission has been paid out, the corresponding amount is deducted from your next payout.

5. Payment

Commissions are paid by PayPal, once a month, to the PayPal address saved in your dashboard, when your payable balance in a currency reaches 50 USD or 50 EUR. Balances are kept per currency and never converted. A balance under the threshold rolls over to the following month. Without a PayPal address, your commissions wait; they are not lost.

The monthly statement available in the dashboard, and sent to you by email, serves as the record of the amounts paid. You are responsible for declaring this income and for any tax due on it in your country. If you are a business established in the European Union, the commission is paid without VAT under the reverse charge mechanism when you have given us a valid VAT number.

6. What you may and may not do

You may share your link on your own sites, in your newsletters, on forums and social networks where you are allowed to post, and in private messages to people who asked you about Jimp.

You may not:

• send unsolicited messages (spam) carrying your link, by email, private message, comment or any other channel;
• buy search or social advertising on the Jimp name or on names that could be confused with it, or use the Jimp name in a domain, a profile name or an account name;
• offer money, a rebate or any other reward to people in exchange for creating an account through your link;
• make claims about Jimp, its results or its prices that Jimp does not make itself, or present yourself as Jimp or as acting for Jimp;
• create accounts yourself, or have accounts created, to earn a commission on them;
• use your link on a site that hosts illegal content, or in a way that breaks the law where you or your audience are.

7. Suspension and termination

PANDACORP SARL may cancel any commission earned in breach of these terms, freeze your affiliate code, and close your participation in the program, with a note of the reason. Commissions earned honestly before a termination remain payable under section 5. You may stop taking part at any time by no longer sharing your link; your remaining balance is paid on the usual cycle once it reaches the threshold.

8. Changes

PANDACORP SARL may update these terms. The date at the top is the date of the current version. A material change is announced by email to the affiliates with a balance or an attributed account, 30 days before it takes effect.
