Indexed within the hour

Every page pinged in an hour.

A new page nobody told the engines about waits for a crawler to stumble on it. Jimp does not wait: each release is named to the search engines the hour it goes live, and the sitemap is declared to Google once and for all.

  1. Before

    Its own text

The video's title and description are already rewritten for your site, in its language.

  2. Day one

    Live

The video goes live on your site on its date, and it enters your sitemap.

  3. Within the hour

    Engines told

Jimp flags the new page to Bing, Yandex, Seznam and Naver, without waiting for them to come back.

  4. Then

    Google finds it

Once your sitemap is given to Google in Search Console, it rereads it on its own and finds the new page.

  5. Within the hour

    Posted

The video is posted to your Telegram channel and your Bluesky account, with its image. Your accounts, not Jimp's.

  6. Always

    A clean preview

When someone pastes the link in a chat or a forum, an image in your site's colours shows up.

Why

A new domain waits weeks for a crawler to drop by.

Crawlers budget their visits by what a site has earned, and a fresh domain has earned nothing. Telling them what is new is the one thing a site can do on day one, and most never do it.

4

search engines reached by one IndexNow call

1 h

at most between a release and its signal

  • Nothing to set up: your site serves its own IndexNow key.
  • Only what the schedule actually released, plus the home. Never the whole catalogue in one go.
  • Only live, subscribed sites. Never a site in migration or offline.
Four beats

One release, one signal.

  1. 01

    A video goes live

The schedule puts the page online with today's date, its own text already written.

  2. 02

    One call names it

Within the hour, the worker sends the new addresses to IndexNow, with your site's key.

  3. 03

    The engines share it

IndexNow is one protocol for Bing, Yandex, Seznam and Naver: one call, all of them.

  4. 04

    Google reads the sitemap

Declared once in Search Console, the sitemap carries every dated page for Google to find.

Google

For Google, the sitemap.

Google's way in is the sitemap. Jimp declares your site's sitemap in Search Console with its own service account, once, and Google re-reads it on its own after that. Here, the six demo sites, declared by the worker and read the same day.

search.google.com/search-console
Google
  • Declared once per site on a jimp.site address. Nothing to do on your side.
  • Google re-reads the sitemap by itself; every video in it carries its date.
  • Custom domains come next. Today their sitemap sits at /sitemap.xml for you to declare.
The sitemap

Every video, dated, in the sitemap.

The sitemap lists the home and every video the schedule has released, with the day it went up. A page due tomorrow is not in it yet: the engines see a site that grows, never one that dumped.

Questions about indexing

Your question isn't here? Write to us, we answer fast.

Write to us
Why not IndexNow for Google too?

Google never joined IndexNow. Its channel is the sitemap and Search Console, so that is what Jimp uses: a declaration once, then Google's own re-reads.

What if an engine refuses the call?

A refused call does not move the clock. The next hour resends everything since the last accepted one, so nothing is lost.

Do I need a Bing or Yandex account?

No. IndexNow needs a key served by your site, and your site serves it. No webmaster account, no verification.

Is my custom domain declared to Google?

Not yet. Today only sites on a jimp.site address are declared; a custom domain needs its own verification, which is the next step. Its sitemap is at /sitemap.xml and you can declare it yourself meanwhile.

Does it run on a demo site?

It runs for subscribed sites, in the same pass as the unique rewrite. A demo shows the site; the machine starts when you do.

Does it guarantee indexing?

It guarantees the engines are told, within the hour, every time. Whether they index a page is their call; what Jimp removes is the weeks they would have spent not knowing.
